What is AppleInsider News Source?

AppleInsider appreciates each and everyone of your news tips. We owe a great deal of thanks to our many sources, for without you, AppleInsider would cease to exist.

To show our appreciation, we at AppleInsider have developed the first anonymous news tips conversation weblet, called News Source. With an AppleInsider News Source account, sources can both send and receive messages from the AppleInsider Staff under complete anonymity and without the use of mail servers. The weblet manages messages like an email client, allowing sources to browse, delete, manage and reply to messages in there inbox.

News source takes our Anonymous Mailer technology one step further, providing not only a means of anonymous submission to AppleInsider, but also a medium allowing AppleInsider to reply and engage in anonymous conversation with sources.
